Well finally after having the BMW E30 halo (angel eyes) and pondering over the best way to fit them, they are now installed into the A series!! As you can see from the previous post i have had some adaptors made to hold the lights. It was then just a process of working out how to remove the adjusters and install them into the new adaptors. I managed to use the original BMW adjusters and drill the adaptors and fit the plastic locators so i could then insert the adjusters. So they should work very similar to the original with two adjusters, one to do the up and down tilt and one for the left to right, and i final locator just to keep the light in place. They are pretty solid when fitted and i hope there will be enough adjustment on them.

The inner adaptors had to be smaller to fit them in so i need to get the tabs welded on, but there in place for the moment and i just need to trim the tabs to fit before getting them welded.

Now i need to hook up the wiring so the halo’s are set as running lights, and on when the ignition is switched on and then the main and full beam hooked up. then its just a bit of adjustment and they should be good for the MOT (at some point!)

If your thinking about doing this yourself and need any info or more images just drop me a message. Or look me up on the Opel Club UK site. you can find me under 611.
